Sr. Frontend Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to create exceptional user experiences for our data and analytics applications. In this role, you will be responsible for building responsive, intuitive interfaces that make complex data accessible and actionable for our clients.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Aptologics, you'll work closely with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to create cohesive, user-friendly applications that solve real business problems. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive, user-friendly web applications
• Implement modern frontend frameworks and libraries to create interactive UIs
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into functional code
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in frontend development

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)
• Knowledge of state management solutions (Redux, Context API, MobX)
• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and how to integrate them
• Familiarity with build tools and module bundlers (Webpack, Vite)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Next.js or similar SSR/SSG frameworks
• Knowledge of data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js)
• Experience with CSS preprocessors and CSS-in-JS solutions
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
• Experience with GraphQL
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices
